Based on the agreement we signed between our investment company AGB Consultants and Togo Government's Ministry of Agriculture -with the support of Ministry of Industry Trade and Ministry of Investment- AGRI-FOOD PROCESSING PROJECT, one of the most important projects of the government, is about to start in Kara agropole, which has been selected as the pilot region.
With this project, food and energy security will be ensured, and unemployment level will be decreased in the pilot region. The project amount is 90 Million USD for the first stage and already financed by Bank of Africa. There is also additional financial support of South Korean government for this project.
With the start of this project, Türkiye's import and export with African countries will increase through Togo, which has the 3rd deepest port in the region, international airports and railway line. Togo is the politically stabled and secured country comparing with the other African countries.
